CAMILLO 21 27th June 2008
We spent just two nights here, but wish it had been longer. Francesco was so helpful and friendly, we immediately felt at home. We were thrilled with the apartment, thoughtfully fitted out and extremely comfortable.
Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

From the moment we walked into the apartment, the colors, the style and the contemporary floor mixed with the ancient stone styling typical of this region, I knew it had to be the touch of the lovely stylish woman who had directed us to this wonderful place. Her warmth and helpfulness getting us settled in was one of a great show of hospitality. Wanda is a smiling, warm caring, refreshing female who was our first introduction to Oria. I had just purchased a small villetta just outside of Oria and used the facilities of Borgodioria until our furnishings arrived from America. Well, it was a great introduction to my future in Oria. Then came Francesco who I had been in touch with although booking. He was so very helpful in everyway. And his English is pretty good too! We had many questions concerning our new move and he was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this accomodation and if I ever have an overflow of visitors to my new home, I will surely find them a wonderful spot at Borgodioria.
We really enjoyed our trip to Oria and hope to visit again sometime.
The apartment was great and very comfortable. We were happy with everything.
If we had a list of what was going on in Oria that week it might have been
helpful but I am sure that we didn't miss out. A map of all the shops that
you recommend would have been useful - we only found the olive shop on the
We really appreciated the way that you met and welcomed us on the first
night and all the hospitality that you showed.
Oria is a special place and I have not found anywhere as good in the whole
We had a fabulous week in Oria and we are grateful to you for providing us with a perfect base at Sedile. We were made to feel right at home by Franco, Wanda and her husband. We found the people of Oria very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean spacious and comfortable. We loved the roof terrace and the prime location. Vecchio d'Oria became our favourite haunt for evening meals although Oria has a plentiful supply of excellent restaurants.
Oria was a convenient distance away from Brindisi airport and nicely positioned for us to explore some lovely towns in the surrounding countryside. In summary this place has everything you'd want for a fun, relaxing, "get it away from it all" type holiday. We hardly saw another tourist for the whole week.
Thanks for everything

We are two French-Canadians and we travelled by bicycle.
In april 2007, we visited a region of south Italy, PUGLIA.
Il you like calm and serenity, you are the right place.
We stayed a week in Oria (Medieval City) in Borgodioria appartements. The city is on the top of a small hill in the middle of the PUGLIA region. From there, you can go by bicycle a day to the Adriatic sea and the other day, to the Ionian sea.
On north, in Alberobello and all around, there are some very nice and small cities.
After few days in Oria, we are like at home. People are quiet and a little bit shy but after a while, you don’t want to leave.
Thank’s to Francesco and Puglian people, you are very nice.
Maryse et Guy Charbonneau
P.S. In tree weeks, we have visited a part of the region of Puglia by bike (600 km.).
In the north, Alberobello, Lecce to the south Gallipoli to Santa Maria de Leuca.
Everywhere on the road, the cars respect us. Thank’s a lot. We want to come back

Like everyone else in this book, we hope to come again to this wonderful
place - Oria. It is made particularly wonderful by the kindness of the
Pipino family and all the people we met. The apartment is perfect and your
kindness overwhelming (?). THANK YOU!!

settimane. Grazie a tutti!!!

Fantastic apartment in a wonderful area. We don't have much to add to what
has already been written, except to say thet Locorotondo is a beautiful
town. Less touristy than Alberobello with great views of the surrounding
area. Also, try to go along to Caffè Manfredi on Monday night when the pub
quiz is on.. great for your Italian!
Many thanks to Francesco for making this a most enjoyable stay.

Five wonderful weeks of sunshine, fresh air, delicious food and good wine. The few wet days were compensated by the log fire in the evenings abd the rain brought on a lovely show of spring flowers in the olive groves. The apartment and the town are architectural gems, the neighbours friendly and helpful, and where else would the owner of a castle invite strangers in for a private tour when it was closed? Or a family in the country ask two unknown ramblers in for a coffe? Finally: thank you Francesco for your help and advices and for being alwais on call! We will be back.
